1st Brownie Meeting of 2009 (plus a few pictures)

Our 1st troop meeting for 2009 is TOMORROW:

Tuesday, January 6th, 2009

3:30-4:30pm, normal location

SJ, our WONDERFUL COOKIE COORDINATOR will join us as we focus on teaching the girls about upcoming cookie sales, set goals for fundraising, make plans for projected use of money raised, and make signs to promote our upcoming booth sales!

It is imperative that one of each of the girls parents attend one of the parent info meetings tomorrow, you choose: either 4:30-5:00pm or 5:30-6:00pm. KC and EW will entertain the girls while you attend one of the meetings! Cookie sales will be different this year and our cookie coordinator will explain all of the changes. Permission slips MUST BE SIGNED in order for the girls to sell cookies, so make plans to attend one of the meetings tomorrow!

Snacks for tomorrow will be provided by AMc!!! Others can sign up on a new sign up sheet at the meeting tomorrow!

This week: Posing (yoga & scarves)

Here's a quick look at our girls modeling the fun scarves made at last week's meeting! The girls each made a scarf to keep and a scarf to include in the shoebox gifts donated to Samaritan's Purse/Operation Christmas Child project! 

Thanks to all of the girls for donating items to fill EIGHT shoeboxes!!! What a blessing to be able to give to others!!!

Also included in this post are a few photos of our meeting yesterday... We had the privilege of learning some yoga "moves"... Be on the lookout for more yoga pictures...

Meeting today, 11/18/08

* Shoebox donations are due TODAY for Samaritans Purse project!

* Recipes are due TODAY for our Holiday Cookbook (will be sent home before Christmas).

* Snack today provided by KA.

We will NOT meet next week, the week of Thanksgiving!!!

December 2nd meeting will end at 4pm as it is an early dismissal day.

 

December 9th meeting is also an early dismissal day and will end at 4pm.

Will will NOT meet December 16th... so, December 9th will be the last meeting for 2008!!!
